Love is…

by Emma

What is love?

Is it the physicality of emotion? The warm embraces, the sweet kiss.

Is that the defining phenomenon of ‘love’?

Or is it the belonging, the bonding and shared values. Is it the enjoyment of two. Entwining emotions.

When we feel it, really feel it, do we sacrifice ourselves to keep it? Should we have to? Pure love would not ask for compromise. It only asks for mutual compassion. Joint working. Mutual dreams.

To not give up and to change direction, but to make space for another to join the journey. An emotional and inspiring road trip. A pleasure ride.

To embrace the rocks and obstacles together. To walk in harmonious sync. To support and hold each other up. To cushion the falls.

The enjoyment of the passion and the sweetness of the depth. The continous non faltering reliance and the acceptance of good and bad. To continue the journey regardless.

That is real love.

The mind of a deep thinker…or complete rubbish…it is all down to interpretation and perception…
