I, Myself and Me

by Emma

I write, I convey, I post.

I made an impulsive decision that this post will be a little about me. I feel appreciated that my posts are liked and valued.

We live in a big world and I remain a small spec on the horizon. Yet we are all our unique selves and we should be valued as that.

So today I am divulging a little about who I am. What makes me….well, simply me.

I work in psychiatry and specialise in children and adolescents. I have an ever growing passion in my vocation, and mental health is a subject I can, and will, forever promote.

Writing is also a passion. I feel it offers internal therapy and fulfilment. It allows me to use analytic thought content and explore both my internal and external world. I write for pleasure but it also fulfils a personal need.

I simply am a deep person. Fact.

My guilty pleasures are tasty food (usually high in calories and fat content!) and shopping.

Yes I am a woman, and no I never stated I was sensible or righteous.

I have an unhealthy obsession with cake and I will swear blind it provides vital brain nutrients! 😉

I enjoy to learn and develop. I think we all need to prosper and aspire in our individual way. It offers personal growth and enlightenment.

I also enjoy culture and diversity. How we can all remain so different yet still remain connected, completely amazes me.

I am honest. I am real.

I am not perfect…nor would I want to be.

I’m very impulsive, I can hold my own in a conversation, and I can be opinionated.

But I accept the person I am.

The mind of a deep thinker…or complete rubbish…it is all down to interpretation and perception…
