Infinite Awakening

by Emma

His hand caressed her hair,
She looked away,
Eyes wide, afraid,
Hidden,
If she looked too long,
She might drown.

He touched her cheek,
Tender touching,
Undiluted emotion,
Her hand shook,
She was afraid.

His eyes spoke loudly,
Her breath haltered,
To believe,
She must see,
Slow Trepidation.

Sweet whispers surrounding,
She looked up,
Emotions evolving,
The visual connection,
She drowned.

Drowning deeper,
Senses overflowing,
Fear elapsing,
She reaches out, yearning,
She can breathe.

The mind of a deep thinker…or complete rubbish…it is all down to interpretation and perception…
