This concept can be considered from both an external and internal perspective.
What do we appreciate? Are we actually appreciative?
Money. Property. Job. Are we naturally materistically and cognitively inspired?
This leads to the question of external appreciation. How long can external facets keep us appreciative? Until we become bored. Until we come further ambitious. Does this then define happiness. Does it offer us inner clarity.
In comparison, inner appreciation does not ask for monies. It doesn’t satisfy from receiving status or receiving a material gift. Inner appreciation is warmth. It is the glow which develops and flutters. It is the feeling of pure contentment. It is self-actualisation.
To know ourselves is to aspire to become greater. To be surrounded by people who aspire us is a greater asset.
If we search within us and have gratitude for what we are and what we have been given, then we rid of the external negative grasp. We simply become.
Life is an amazing gift which we can enjoy if we take the reigns.
How often do we measure our woes? Yet fail to appreciate the less obvious rewards. The shared laughter, the special smiles, the concept of love.
Appreciation is futile unless we learn to really and deeply appreciate. To recognise the important and fundamentals. To hold these close and cherish them as they are. Every single moment has meaning. Don’t lose these shining stars whilst reaching too high in the sky.
The mind of a deep thinker…or complete rubbish…it is all down to interpretation and perception…
