How do you deal with disappointment and dishonesty? The saying goes ‘once, your mistake… twice, mine’ yet what about when it keeps happening? Who’s to blame?
As beings, we each have values and morals which we base our own behaviour on. We base our judgement of others on a mixture of these and our perception of theirs. So when that judgement is tested, where does the fault actually lay? Does it lay with us for our naivety, or with them for their lack of respect and honesty? It is a vast and endless conundrum, we each have our own conditions and limitations to what we expect and what we give. Yet underneath it, we simply all want to be happy.
If happiness is both internal and external, then we need to believe in the people around us as much as ourselves to find true peace and happiness. That requires honesty, respect and mutual values for harmonious alliance.
We owe it to ourselves.
The mind of a deep thinker…or complete rubbish…it is all down to interpretation and perception…
